Common Horse Chestnut

The following photos are of some of the many different types of trees planted at Western University

From Arkansas to Illinois

Does anyone know what type of bug makes this type of home?

'Thames' Fly Catchers

The Thames river is on the edge of campus. I had to carefully trek down a steep embankment
through the trees to the fast moving river. I was surprised at the color of the water,
which was green & blue in tone. I spent a lovely 25 minutes on the shore skipping stones and watching the birds dive in and
out again.
